As an exempt, essential business we will continue to be open for the foreseeable future to support the NHS and key workers, and to assist with our customer car emergencies..

Due to the current 'Lockdown' measures we are now operating a by appointment only service, where bookings can be taken either by telephone message or via our website online booking form.  Once your booking request has been received we will call you to make the necessary arrangements.

We now offer interest free payment plans

Through our payment plan options, for a small processing charge we are now offering customers the opportunity to spread their car repair bill over 4-payments, interest free.  No credit checks are carried out for amounts under £1,000.  Please see our special offers page for further information.

Air conditioning not working or not cold enough?

The performance of your vehicle's air conditioning system detriorates over time and one of the most common problems is when it simply runs low of gas.  This is usually when you find that the circulated air isnt very cold.  An air conditioing recharge of gas is quite simple to do and takes approx 1 1/2 hours.  (Unfortunately, we are currently unable to recharge newer cars using R1234yf gas).

Unlike many independant garages, we welcome motorhomes and campers here and really love hearing all about our customers' past and forthcoming travels!  We can accomodate your MOT, servicing and repair needs, so please feel free to pop in or give us a call.

Bring your car to MECA without invalidating your new car warranty!

'Block Exemption Regulations' now give you a lot more freedom in deciding who should look after your car. Most new car buyers are unaware that they are no longer required to get their servicing and repairs carried out at the main dealership to keep the warranty up-to-date, so our customers are pleasantly surprised to discover that they can take their new car to MECA Car Services instead at a far cheaper cost, without invalidating the manufacturer's warranty.
