As an independent lady owned business, MECA Car Services brings a friendly, professional customer approach and core values, which are echoed throughout our entire business ethics. Everything about our business aims to reflect quality of service at the best price to our customer.
To offer the highest level of customer service, Jennifer and her Services Manager, Paul, open the doors from 8.00am Monday to Friday, allowing you to drop off your vehicle and still be at work on time. This service is supplemented by free courtesy cars (subject to availability) and also a drop off and collection service for those customers working within the Sowton Industrial Estate and Exeter Business Park area.
The MECA Car Services team always offer a friendly welcome to all our customers and, if you wish, we will readily explain exactly what work was carried out. Our mechanics and vehicle technicians are on hand to help out with any problems or questions you may have. To further assist our customers when collecting your vehicles we are open until 5.30pm.
Our comfortable reception area is supplemented by refreshments and toilet facilities being available. There are also several workshop viewing areas where customers are invited to chat to our mechanics and inspect your vehicle whilst it is up on the ramp should you be interested.
Our many female customers use MECA Car Services because they feel comfortable with the service and help they receive. We are proud to be able to offer free vehicle health checks aimed at women car owners and young/new drivers to ensure that your personal safety is not compromised. During these open days our friendly professional team of mechanics and technicians will offer advice and demonstrations on the fundamentals of safety, including how to look after your car, what to carry in the boot and basic things like how to check tyre pressures and change a tyre.
A female-friendly independent garage is definitely the best choice for men as well of course! Jennifer understands that women are discerning shoppers who know what they want, expect great value for money and go elsewhere if they are not happy. So garages that get customer services right for women automatically provide a higher standard for men too.
As a member of the Good Garage Scheme, MECA Car Services abides by a strict Code of Conduct and are also audited on an annual basis to ensure that the Scheme's standards are being met. Customers are encouraged by Jennifer to provide formal feedback of the quality and standard on service provided directly to the Good Garage Scheme by way of a pre-paid postage feedback card.
